At Chicnutrix, we revere the symbiotic relationship between beauty and fashion. Our team is dedicated to highlighting the importance of beauty from within ? which is what our beauty nutrition strives to target through premium ingredients. Lakme Fashion Week 2020 started on a high note with the opening show headed by Manish Malhotra as he unveiled his majestic collection titled, Ruhaaniyat. Exquisite in every way and synonymous with his acute sense of craftsmanship, Malhotra still managed to dazzle viewers in Lakme Fashion Week?s first-ever digital edition. As a much-awaited bi-annual fashion event of the year, Lakme Fashion Week has paved a path for both new and veteran designers to showcase their best work to a national and global audience. We?ve handpicked five of our favourite looks from Lakme Fashion Week over the years.
  • Manish Arora
Times are changing and it?s refreshing to see designers evolve through their work, one gorgeous collection at a time. Aptly titled, We are Family, Manish Arora managed to beautifully encapsulate an LGBTQIA-inspired runway collection through eccentric outfits and head accessories. It was first showcased as a musical performance in Paris Fashion Week 2019 before it stole the spotlight at Lakme Fashion Week. Manish Arora
  • Ritu Kumar
After a whole decade, Ritu Kumar returned for the finale on Sustainable day at Lakme Fashion Week. To mark her comeback, she presented her collection titled, Nature's Origami with Aditi Rao Hyadri as the showstopper. The iconic designer used a clean approach by using the eco-friendly fibre brand Lenzing Ecovero as a nod to the growing interest in eco-wear. Ritu Kumar
  • Shivan & Narresh
Resort-wear went through a cheeky makeover at Lakme Fashion Week with Shivan & Narresh at the forefront. The duo collaborated with Caprese to bring viewers a stimulating collection titled, Seoul Series, inspired by the South Korean culture. Showstopper Diana Penty lit the runway on fire as she strutted in a breathtaking long olive skirt and wrap blouse. Shivan
  • Amit Aggarwal
LFW left the best for last when Amit Aggarwal closed for the Lakme Absolute Grand Finale with his otherworldly collection, Axil. Structured silhouettes, subtle shimmery accents, fluid fabric and multi-dimensional aesthetics were brought to life on the runway. Kareena Kapoor stole the show when she took to the runway in a deep green gown that commanded every bit of attention in the room. Amit Agarwal
  • Rajdeep Ranawat
Sun-kissed skin, long walks on the beach and electric sundowners are a little bit of what Bali has to offer. If you?ve ever been to Bali, you'll love Rajdeep Ranawat's Ubud-inspired collection. Using the country's tropical weather as inspiration, Ranawat spun a print-heavy ensemble in opulent fabrics such as mulberry, khadi, tussar and silk. Amyra Dastur sported a sparkly red bikini top with a lehenga and jacket for an eclectic finish. Rajdeep Ranawat Chicnutrix was happy to bring the fashion entourage closer to their hair and skin goals with the right nutrition. Our association with Lakme Fashion Week amplified our core belief on the importance of beauty from within. In the long haul, it's the benefits that we experience and can reap for a long time to come. Cheers to not just good nutrition but efficacious nutrition.
